Who are we?
The Lycoming County Paralegal Association (LCPA) is a non
profit professional organization founded in 1995. It is the
mission of the LCPA to create a network through which
members can enhance their legal knowledge and education. The
LCPA serves as a forum for paralegals to communicate and to
expand the development of paralegals on the local and
national levels. The LCPA is affiliated with the National
Federation of Paralegal Association (NFPA). The LCPA is also
a member of the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations.
The Keystone Alliance provides a statewide voice for
paralegals in Pennsylvania, monitors the development of the
profession and promotes the profession in Pennsylvania.

experience, to perform substantive legal work that requires
knowledge of legal concepts and is customarily, but not
exclusively, performed by a lawyer. This person may be
