Please be advised of an early deadline the Lycoming Reporter. All notices must be received by Thursday, June 27, 2024, 10:00 AM for publication in the Friday, July 5, 2024, edition.

The Lycoming County Customs and Rules Committee submitted for the court's consideration a proposed set of rules relating to the custody of exhibits during and after court proceedings. The rules were approved on April 18, 2024.

Please be advised that there will be an early deadline for Reporter Notices for the upcoming holidays. All notices must be submitted as follows: Received by Wednesday, December 20, at 4:00 pm for publication in the Friday, December 29, 2023 edition. Received by Wednesday, December 27, at 4:00 pm for publication in the Friday, January 5, 2024 edition.

On May 23, 2023, the Lycoming County Court issued an order approving local civil rule L205.4, that implements electronic filing for civil cases. The prothonotary will shortly begin to implement the filing process.

The Lycoming County Customs & Rules Committee has submitted for the court's consideration a proposed local rule L205.4 that would implement civil case electronic filing in Lycoming County. The rule must first be approved by the Pa. Civil Procedure Rules Committee.

Effective January 1, 2023, all currently serving Lycoming County court-appointed professional guardians who had previously been court authorized to receive monthly monetary compensation from Medicaid in Lycoming County guardianship cases are now authorized to receive $300.00 per month from Medicaid.
