Due to increasing publishing costs, effective January 1, 2022, the following Lycoming Reporter fees will increase: Annual subscription from $75 to $100. Estate advertisements from $90.00 to $110.00. Business notices from $80 to $90. Sheriff Sales from $435 to $450. The per-line advertising rate from $1.95 per line to $2.15 per line. Professional announcements will now be published for a flat rate of $40.

The court has promulgated Rule of General Court Business L1901 relating to the termination of inactive summary cases before Magisterial District Judges.

Rate Change: Effective June 1, 2021, the publishing rate for name change notices in the Lycoming Reporter will be a flat rate of $65.00 per publication.

Notification Regarding Legal Notices Published in the Reporter: It has been the policy of the Lycoming Reporter that each legal notice must be submitted separately for publication, and that multiple notices may not be combined into one notice to avoid advertising fees. In some cases, submitted advertisements have not followed this policy and the policy has not been uniformly enforced. Beginning June 1, 2021, all legal notices must be submitted separately. For example, an advertisement that includes both estate and trust notices or multiple trust notices will violate the policy. Submissions that combine multiple notices will either be rejected and returned to be properly resubmitted, or billed as separate notices, at the discretion of the Lycoming Reporter.

Please be advised of an early deadline the Lycoming Reporter. All notices must be submitted as follows: Received by Friday, March 26 by 10:00 AM for publication in the Friday, April 2, 2021 edition.

Consistent with the notice posted last year, Lycoming Reporter submissions should be made by US Mail, electronically to MFrey@lycolaw.org or by fax to 570.323.9897. Payments should be made by US Mail. Submissions and payments made through the courthouse mail are subject to delay.

Please be advised that there will be an early deadline for Reporter Notices for the upcoming holidays. All notices must be received by Thursday, December 17, at 2:00 pm for publication in the Friday, December 25, 2020 edition and received by Tuesday, December 22, at 2:00 pm for publication in the Friday, January 1, 2021 edition.
