Association Members Re-elected to Legislative Office

Two members of the Lycoming Law Association were overwhelmingly re-elected to the state legislature.

Garth Everett was unopposed in his quest for a fourth term in the General Assembly.  He was first elected as the representative of the 84th legislative district in 2006.  He received 20,178 votes.

Gene Yaw was opposed in the general election by the Democrat candidate, Luana Cleveland.  Yaw won nearly 70% of the vote in cruising to a second term in the Pennsylvania Senate.

Former LLA member and Lycoming County District Attorney Thomas Marino was also reelected to Congress by a large margin.  He defeated Philip Scollo by a 66% to 34% margin.

Best wishes to these men, who continue the long tradition of LLA members committed to public service.
