Lawyers Support Successful Angel Tree Toy Drive

This holiday season will be a lot happier for some children in the Williamsport area this year.

The Young Lawyers Division of the Lycoming Law Association again sponsored an Angel Tree toy drive, collecting toys, books, games and clothes from lawyers and law office staff in Lycoming County. For several weeks 55-gallon tubs were stationed in local law offices. These tubs were filled with literally hundreds of items, that were then donated to the Salvation Army for redistribution to needy families.

 Donations to the Salvation Army were down this year. The YLD's donations provided a much needed boost to support the Salvation Army's efforts for the holidays.
