Red Cross Recognizes LLA Support

Last fall, after the devastating flooding in parts of Lycoming County, the Lycoming County bar came together to support the flood relief efforts of the Red Cross.  The total donations of LLA members of $3270 were matched with an equal amount from the Association for a total of $6540 donated to the Red Cross.

At the May Executive Committee meeting of the Lycoming Law Association this support was recognized.  Valerie Whyman, of the American Red Cross, presented a print, that celebrates the efforts of the Red Cross in years past.  The original of the print was hand painted by a local artist and given to the Red Cross to present to its supporters.

The LLA is proud of it's support of the Red Cross and will display this gift prominently in its office.
