Brown Library Benefits from Nichols Award

The William E. Nichols Community Service Award was established in January 2012 by the Lycoming Law Association in recognition and sincere appreciation of William Nichols for outstanding community service and for fostering the positive role of attorneys in our community beyond the practice of law.  William E. Nichols was its first recipient.

The award includes a cash donation in the amount of $1000 to a charitable organization of the honoree's choice.  Mr. Nichols, who has been a trustee of the James V. Brown Library for 50 years, chose to benefit the Lycoming County Law Library which is housed at the James V. Brown Library.
