Carlucci Recognized
Bill Carlucci has served lawyers in many ways. He was the President of the LLA in 1992. He has served as president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Bill is and has been an active participant in many bar committees and organizations over his more than 30 year legal career.
But on January 14, 2013, he was recognized by lawyers for his service outside of the profession. Bill Carlucci was awarded the second "William E. Nichols Community Service Award" at the LLA annual banquet.
The award is intended to recognize outstanding commitment to community service beyond the practice of law by a member of the Lycoming Law Association. Bill has a history of extensive involvement with service and church organizations. He serves as an unpaid school board member in Loyalsock Township.
It is with his life-long service in the Boy Scouting program that Bill has made his mark on the community. He has twice served as President of the Susquehanna Council, BSA. He is a member of the board of the BSA Seabase High Adventure Camp. He has day to day involvement with Troop 38, St. Ann's. Through his commitment to the Boy Scouts, many boys have benefitted from a program that leaves them with life-changing experiences and the values that will guide them through their lives.
In his remarks after the award was presented, Bill pointed out that Lycoming County lawyers serve the community in many ways. He modestly suggested that he is but one of many community leaders in the bar. Bill is, no doubt, well deserving of this award.
