Justice Baer to Speak at Inns of Court Meeting

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Max Baer has been enlisted to make a presentaition at an upcoming meeting of the Charles F. Greevy, Jr. American Inn of Court. The presentation is at the invitation of Judge Joy Reynolds McCoy’s team.

Justice Baer graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971 and received his Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law in 1975. He served as Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania from 1975 to 1980 and was in private law practice from 1980 to 1989. in 1989 he was elected a judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County. In 2003, he was elected to the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He was retained for another 10 years in the November 5 election.

Members of the bar are invited to attend the meeting on Monday, November 18, 2013, on the campus of Pennsylvania College of Technology. The meeting will be held in the Mountain Laurel Room of the Professional Development Center and will begin with a cash bar at 5:45 PM with a buffet dinner to follow at 6:15 PM. Dinner will be prepared by Le Jeune Chef Restaurant.  

The cost of attending for non-members is $36.50, which includes dinner and one (1) substantive CLE credit. The fee must be provided to the Inn of Court prior to or at the presentation. If you wish to attend you must RSVP by responding to this email by Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
