Local Lawyer Honored by Chamber of Commerce

Tammy Weber named Alumni of the Year

The Williamsport-Lycoming Chamber of Commerce's 13th Annual Education Celebration took place on March 7. Students, teachers, alumni and businesses were recognized for their work in the Lycoming County area.

The Education Celebration was started to greater emphasize the relationship between the business and education communities. The goal is that if the relationship is strong, the area's future work force will be better served.

LLA member Tammy Weber, Lycoming College class of 1983, was presented with an Alumni of the Year Award. The award was presented to one graduate from each of Williamsport's two higher educational institutions. The award recognizes individuals who attended college in Williamsport, and have stayed in the area to become successful and active residents in Lycoming County.
