LLA Members Elected to County Positions

Lycoming County voters went to the polls on November 7, 2023, to select from candidates for various municipal positions. A number of Lycoming Law Association members were on the ballot.

The Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas will be fully staffed at the beginning of 2024, with the election of two judges. Current Judge William Carlucci was elected to his first term, after having been earlier selected by the Governor to serve an interim position. Current District Attorney Ryan Gardner was also elected to the bench. The court had been short-staffed since the resignations of former Judges Lovecchio and McCoy in 2021 and 2022.

Kirsten Gardner was elected to the magistrate district judge position in district 29-3-03. After having won both nominations in the May primary election, she received an interim appointment and has been serving in the position since August 2023.

Former LLA member Tom Marino ran unopposed for the district attorney position and was elected to replace soon to be Judge Gardner. Member Mike Zicolello was nominated by both parties for one of five open seats on the Loyalsock School Board, and he was elected to the position.
