Mock Trial Competition Held in Federal Courtroom

On March 14, 2023, the high school mock trial regional competition was held at the Federal Courthouse in Williamsport before U.S. Magistrate Judge William I. Arbuckle III. Several Lycoming Law Association members volunteered to serve as juror/scorekeepers.

Mock trial programs teach students essential skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, and the art of forming a persuasive, cohesive argument.

This year's trial had State College High School competing against Ridgway High School. The State College team was successful and will move on to the next level of the competition.
