Although the ceremony is no longer required in the era of statewide admission, Lycoming County has continued this practice as a way to introduce attorneys to the Bench and Bar of the county.

Some of the newly admitted attorneys are recent graduates, while others have worked in different places, but all were welcomed to the Lycoming County Bar by the judges and the large number of members and family present in the courtroom for the ceremony.

Lauren E. Appolonia is a 2023 Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and presently works for the law firm of Lepley, Engelman, Yaw & Wilk. Lauren's admission was moved by David Wilk.

Jeana Longo introduced Giovanna Maria Danielle, a current employee of the county public defender's office. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology and Widener University Commonwealth Law School.

David T. Sterngold graduated from Muncy High School, and practiced law in New York after attending Duke University School of Law. He has now returned to his hometown area to work for the McNerney, Page, Vanderlin & Hall firm. Mike Collins moved his admission.

Kallie D. Vento is working for the McCormick Law Firm. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mike Wiley introduced her to the Court.

After all the attorneys were introduced, and their admissions moved, Prothonotary Thomas Heap administered the oath. Welcoming remarks by Judges Ryan Tira, Eric Linhardt, Ryan Gardner, William Carlucci and Nancy Butts followed.

Magistrate Judge William Arbuckle, III invited the newly admitted members to also apply to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Law Association President Joy Reynolds McCoy welcomed the new members to the bar, and gave each of them a copy of the bar history book. Stephanie Wolak-Fleming and Blake Marks invited the new members to participate in the Young Lawyers Division, and John Pietrovito encouraged pro bono work and membership in the Charles F. Greevy Law Society.

A welcoming reception at The Old Corner followed the ceremony.
