Nichols Award Funds Donated to the LLA Foundation

In June, LLA member Robin Reed was named the winner of the 2024 William Nichols Community Award. She was recognized for 29 years she was the solicitor for West Branch Drug and Alcohol, where she was described as “always going above and beyond” the role of legal counselor.  Read has been a long-standing volunteer at the James V. Brown Library.  She is also very active in the LLA Foundation, serving as their president since 2020. 

The award comes with the ability to designate a community organization to receive a donation from the LLA.  Read has designated the $1,000 to be given to the Lycoming Law Association Foundation, with the funds earmarked as a scholarship for a local student attending law school.
