Restored Barn Serves as Venue for Annual Banquet

William R. Christman, Judge Carlucci and Matt HollidayMembers of the Lycoming Law Association and guests came together for the annual banquet on January 13, 2025. The event took place at Herman & Luther's restored barn, banquet facility. The venue has special meaning to new Association President, Judge Ryan Gardner, as the building was constructed by his family many years ago.

After a fine dinner, Judge Gardner welcomed the members and guests. The guests included several staff members from the PBA including regular attendee David K.Trevaskis, Esq., the PBA Pro Bono Coordinator. PBA Executive Director Matt Holliday and Assistant Executive Director William R. Christman III also attended.

Judge Gardner then recognized John Pietrovito, who introduced 50-year member Howard Langdon and Judge Carlucci who introduced 50-year member Rick Baldys.

Those presentations were followed the announcement of Fair Share and Outstanding Law Firm Achievement awards, and also by the awarding of the Thomas Wood, Jr. Equal Access to Justice Award. Matt Diemer was recognized for pro bono service to the poor of Lycoming County.

Mark Lovecchio received the 2025 William E. Nichols Community Service Award, for his involvement with soccer programs and for his mentoring of youth.

Judge Gardner then introduced Dr. David Bower as the recipient of the Lycoming Law Association Public Service Award

With that, the 2025 banquet concluded - but is preserved in the photo gallery below.
