Elder Lawyers Tips Support Alzheimer's Research

Tammy Weber & Brian BluthSeveral Lycoming County elder law lawyers took on a new role - at least for one night.  Tammy Weber, Bob Cronin, Adrianne Stahl, Jim Malee, Dale Tice and Andrea Pulizzi served cocktails to thirsty bar patrons and solicited tips, for their effort.

The event was dubbed the "Forget-Me-Not Happy Hour" and took place at The Old Corner Restaurant in Williamsport.  The goal of the elder lawyers was to provide the best and speediest service hoping, in the end, to have the heaviest tip jar.

It was all in good fun, and to support a good cause.  Sponsored by the Northcentral Pennsylvania Geriatric Interest Network, the event benefitted The Walk to End Alzheimer's, of the Alzheimer's Association.

Almost 100 patrons were served by the this troop of waiters.  More than $2300 was raised to support the Alzheimer's research cause.

In addition to tips, funds were also raised with a Chinese Auction featuring 12 different baskets, from donuts to wine to jewelry.  A special drawing for one-of-a kind Forget·Me-Not Drop earrings donated by Johnny Hiras jewelers was also featured.

In the end, only one of the server staff could claim the tip title.  Tammy Weber raised the most funds, and was the victor.
