Linhardt, Osokow and Wade undertake new responsibilities
Lycoming County welcomed a new Judge on January 2, 2018. At a formal ceremony in courtroom 1 of the Lycoming County Courthouse, Eric Linhardt assumed the position of judge of the Court of Common Pleas of
Lycoming County. Linhardt becomes the junior member of the bench, replacing retiring Judge Dudley Anderson.
Judge Linhardt had served as the County's District Attorney since 2008, having been elected three times to that position. He resigned the District Attorney position at the end of 2017.
Judge Linhardt received the oath from former President Judge Kenneth Brown. He will maintain chambers on the second floor of the courthouse.
Long time First Assistant District Attorney, Kenneth Osokow assumed the District Attorney position and likewise took the oath on January 2. His replacement as First Assistant is Martin Wade, who was also sworn in.
Judge Anderson will continue his service as a Senior Judge. He will likely undertake some Lycoming County assignments, and will also handle matters around the Commonwealth, at the discretion of regional administrator.
