Annual Banquet 2005

On Monday January 10, 2005, members of the Lycoming Law Association and their guests again gathered at Pennsylvania College of Technology's Le Jeune Chef for the annual banquet.  The guest speaker was Chief Bankruptcy Judge John Thomas, Middle District of Pennsylvania.  The Association's special guest was Annabel Miller, who was honored for her 44 years of service as business manager of the Lycoming Reporter.

Judge Thomas spoke on the importance of the pro bono program in the bankruptcy courts and he complemented the LLA membership for supporting pro bono programs.  He also discussed the electronic filing capabilities of the court system.

Annabel Miller was introduced by Reporter Editor Bill Knecht.  Bill highlighted her competence, loyalty, and devotion to duty.  Annabel was presented with a plaque and gifts from the Association.

The annual pro bono awards were presented at the close of the event.  John Pietrovito was honored as the Lycoming Law Association's Equal Access to Justice Award recipient.
