Turner Appointed to Williamsport School Board

LLA member Diane L Turner was appointed to the Williamsport Area School District Board of Directors, during a special meeting on April 29. She fills a seat vacated by the removal of an inactive member.
Turner works for the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas as a family court hearing officer, and has been a member of the local bar since 1992.
Five members of the community applied for the position. After a public interview process, the Board voted to select Turner by a vote of 6-2. She will take office on May 6.
