The fall 2015 elections found several members of the Lycoming Law Association seeking public office.

President Judge Nancy Butts sought a third term on the bench, in a retention ballot. The preliminary results showed that Judge Butts received the support of over 80% of Lycoming County voters. She was elected to a 10 year term.

The most competitive county race was for the office of District Attorney. Incumbent Eric Linhardt faced two contenders, including LLA member Mary C. Kilgus. Linhardt won the election with over 55% of the vote.

Christian Frey was elected Magisterial District Judge. He was unopposed in the general election, having won both nominations in the primary.

Bob Cronin was reelected to the South Williamsport Borough Council. He was likewise unopposed.

Congratulations to these attorneys, who continue the tradition of LLA lawyers serving the public in elected office.
