LLA Receives CCBL Award

CCBL AwardFebruary 27, 2015. - The 2015 Conference of County Bar Leaders seminar is in its second day. LLA President Tammy Weber and Executive Director Michele Frey are both attending the 3 day session.

The annual CCBL awards luncheon took place on the first full day of the seminar. The  luncheon featured keynote speaker Terry Madonna who, at Franklin and Marshall College, is Director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs, Professor of Public Affairs, and Director of the Franklin and Marshall College Poll. Also, county bar leader awards were present to a number of local bar associations.

Lycoming Law Association won an award for three of its 2014 activities: Sponsorship of the video documentary, "Malcolm Muir - A Pioneer in the Efficient Administration of Justice;" the Law Day and Mock Trial Competition activities; and, the Young Lawyers Division Angel Tree Toy Drive.

The award was presented by John R. Howland - CCBL President, Sara A. Austin - PBA Vice President, William H. Pugh - CCBL President Elect, and Francis X. O'Connor - PBA President to Tammy Weber - LLA President and Michele Frey - LLA Executive Director.
