Wills For Heroes Returns
First Responders Served-up Free Wills by Lycoming County Lawyers
On Saturday, May 7, nineteen attorney volunteers gave their time to provide pro bono legal services to multiple families of both volunteer and paid heroes. Six stations were set up for six hours at the Old Lycoming Township fire hall where local first responders brought their spouses, partners and families to obtain documents and ask questions about wills, living wills and powers of attorney.
Kristine Waltz coordinated the event that brought attorneys, notaries and witnesses to the fire hall. LLA lawyers who participated include: Tammy Weber, Jim Malee, John DeWald, Patty Bowman, John Pietrovito, Bob Cronin, Nicole Ippolito, Kristine Waltz, Martin Wade, Kurt Schmitt, Jen Ayres, Beau Hoffman, Yvonne Campbell, Christian Frey, Denise Dieter, Chris Kenyon, Jeff Yates, Corey Mowrey.
As with last fall's event, the program was popular. All of the available slots was filled within a few days of availability.
