Legal Services Receives Arbitration Funds

LLA Foundation's annual award totals $8,240.
Since 1989, lawyers in Lycoming County have been donating fees earned as arbitrators to the LLA Foundation. The trustees of the Foundation have established a policy under which 80% of those fees are committed to North Central Legal Services, while 20% is placed in the Foundation's endowment fund.
In 2016, this program generated $8,240 in Legal Services funding. The check was presented to the staff of the Williamsport office on February 8. Making the presentation were Foundation president Tom Waffenschmidt, LLA President Tira and executive director Frey.
