Robin Reed Named the 2024 William Nichols Community Award Recipient
The William E. Nichols Community Service Award is usually presented at the annual banquet in January. This year's recipient was unavailable at the time, so she had to wait six months to get the award.
Robin Reed was recognized for her service to multiple local organizations, in the presentation made by President Joy McCoy. Her comments in making the award follow:
Robin Reed spent her career at McNerney Page Vanderlin & Hall, retiring in 2020. From 1991 until 2020 Robin was the solicitor for West Branch Drug and Alcohol, where she was described as “always going above and beyond” the role of solicitor by dedicating her time and talents to that organization. Robin has been a long-standing volunteer at the James V. Brown Library for many years, dedicating her time and knowledge. Even after retirement from the practice of law, Robin has continued to be very involved in the LLA Foundation, where she has served as president since 2020. Robin has been described by many of her colleagues as being a mentor to young attorneys, always making them feel welcomed and included.
Congratulations to Robin Reed, and good work!
