Law Day 2000Law Day 2000 was celebrated at the Lycoming County Court House, on Friday, May 4, 2000. The Lycoming County students who won the Lycoming Law Association essay contest presenting their work to the audience.

The topic for elementary students was, "Which amendment of the Bill of Rights is most important and why?"  The contest winners were: Jacob Fagnano, Beth Kepler, Deron Johnson, Kyle Wagner and Samual Nau.

The topic for middle and high school students was, "What should the legal system do, if anything, about school violence?" Students winning this category include: Mitch Anjeski, Bernardo Urdaneta, Ashley Lyons, Jared Brady, Nicole Vollman, Katie Bergen, Patricia Gitschlag and Sarah Getgen.
