Law Day 2002
Law Day 2002 was celebrated in court room 1 of the Lycoming County Court House on May 3, 2002.. The well attended event allowed the winners of the Lycoming County Art and Essay Contest to display their talents for the gathered crowd.
The high school topic for the essay contest was, "Whether the U.S. Constitution should be amended to permit criminal prosecution of persons who desecrate the U.S. flag!. The winning entries were made by Alex Anderson, Ariel King, and Austin Mill."
Elementary school students wrote on the topic, "Symbols of Freedom!" The winners were Lindi Crist, Adam Welch, Lauren Hicks, and Michael Pasnello.
Artwork winners included Rachel Emerick, Cheyanne Reichelderfer, Terrin Crist, Rachel Rider, Conner Cosentine, Ricky Mazzante, Heather DeFrancesco, and Adam Reinard.
