Recent Amendments to Lycoming County Local Rules

Local rules of judicial administration L5101-L5103 dealing with custody of exhibits during and after court proceedings, are promulgated.

New local rule of civil procedure implementing civil case electronic filing, Rule L205.4,

Local rules concerning support, custody and divorce are completely revamped.

The "Lycoming County Rules of General Court Business" are hereby renamed to "Lycoming County Rules of Judicial Administration" to conform to statewide practice.

Promulgation of Rule of General Court Business L1901 relating to the termination of inactive summary cases before Magisterial District Judges

Rescission of local rules L1915.13-1 and L1915.13-2 relating to emergency custody matters.

Order amending the case monitoring notice form and implementing new rule L229, dealing with notice of discontinuance.

Court approves local rules to address requests for court transcripts, court reporter fees and related issues.

Court approves revision to rule L1007, changing the way parties request modifications to civil trial scheduling orders.

Order rescinding the Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rules and issuing new Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rules L1.8(c), L2.6, L2.7, L2.9, L2.10, L9.1, L9.6, L9.7, L14.2, L14.5, L15.5, and L15.8.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L1018.1 is amended to change the name and address of Legal Services

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L205.2 and L1910.12 are amended to implement a different procedure for filing exceptions in domestic relations matters.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L205.2(b)B (the motion cover sheet) is amended.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L212, L1007, L1302, L1302.1, L1303, L1304.1, L1308, L1311 and L1315 (relating to arbitrations) are amended and Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L1301.1 is rescinded.

Lycoming County Rules of Criminal Procedure L140, L141, L142, L143, L200, L301, L303, L316, L1401, L1409, L2002A and L4006 are rescinded. 2. New Lycoming County Rules of Criminal Procedure L122, L202, L525, L540, L578 and L700 are promulgated.

Lycoming County Rule of Criminal Procedure L107 is rescinded and replaced with rule 507, which establishes the circumstances under which criminal complaints may not be filed without the approval of an attorney for the Commonwealth.

Lycoming County Rule of Criminal Procedure L530 is promulgated to designate and set powers of County Bail Agency.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L205.2(b)B is revised to change the form of the motion cover sheet.

Lycoming County Orphans’ Court Rule L3.4 is revised. A cover sheet is now required to be filed with Orphan's Court motions, using a form unique to Orphan's Court practice.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L1915.13-1 - Petition for Emergency Custody Relief, is revised to extend the time within which the full hearing must be held from 5 to 10 days.

Lycoming County Rule of General Court Business L8 is promulgated to implement a video and audio conferencing procedure.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L205.2(b)B and L212 are revised to update the pretrial statement and motion cover sheet forms to include requests for video conferencing.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L205.2(a) and L1915.8 are revised. Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L1910.1, L1910.4, L1910.5, L1910.8, L1910.13, L1914, L1915.3-4, L1920.2, L1920.3, L1920.15, L1920.73, L1920.74, L1920.75, L1920.76 and L1920.77 are rescinded.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L205.2 and L1007 and are revised.

Lycoming County Orphans’ Court Rules L5.7, L6.13, L10.1, L17.1, L17.8, L17.12 and L17.13 are hereby rescinded. Lycoming County Orphans’ Court Rules L6.1, L6.9, L17.4 and 17.9 are revised. Lycoming County Orphans’ Court Rules L14.1, L17.10 and L17.11 are hereby replaced in their entirety with identically numbered rules.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L205.2, L208.3, L212, L1301, and L1308 and are revised.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L1007C was amended to remove the reference to the defunct Lycoming Mediation Project.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L205.2, L208.2 and L208.3 are rescinded. Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L1028(c), L1034(a) and L1035.2(a) are revised. Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure numbers L205.2(a), L205.2(b), L206.4(c), L208.2(d), L208.2(e), L208.3(a) and L208.3(b) are promulgated.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L200.1, L206, L206.5, L206.7, L210, L212, L227.1, L701, L1007, L1910.9, L1910.19, L1910.21, L1910.24, L1910.25, L1920.1, L1920.22, L1920.34, L1920.61 and, L4019 are rescinded. Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L216, L902, L1301, L1301.1, L1915.3, L1915.3-2, L1915.8, L1920.16, L1920.43, L1920.45 and L1920.51 are revised. Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure numbers L205.2, L206.4(c), L208.2, L208.3, L212, L440, L1007, L1028(c), L1034(a), L1035.2(a) and L1930.5 are promulgated. Lycoming County Rules of General Court Business L1, L2, and L3 are rescinded. Lycoming County Rule of Criminal Procedure L300 is rescinded. Lycoming County Orphans’ Court Rule L3.4 is revised.

Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rule L6.3 is revised.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L230.2 is adopted. Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L903 is rescinded.

Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rule L7.2 is rescinded. Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rule L17.7 is revised.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L212 and L1007 are revised and Rule L1035 is rescinded.

Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rules L7.1 and L15.1 are rescinded. Lycoming County Orphan’s Court Rules L15.8 and L17.7 are revised.

Lycoming County Rules of Criminal Procedure L1, L67, L130, L309, L1100 and L1123 are rescinded. Lycoming County Rules of Criminal Procedure L140, L142 and L301 are revised.

Lycoming County Rules of Civil Procedure L206 and L212 are revised.

Lycoming County Rule of Civil Procedure L1915.12 is promulgated.
